Short Track Report is a father and son operation. Billy Weatherman owns it, writes and shoots the photos; his son Joshua is co-owner and handles media and editing. Their coverage runs from Late Model Stock and SMART Modified Tour races to the CARS Tour, at tracks like South Boston Speedway and Tri-County Speedway.
They also write the race reports for the Grand National Super Series, and Short Track Report is a current source for the racing news featured on the QuicShine99 website.

The Grand National Super Series Presented by ECC brings full-bodied stock car racing to short tracks across the Southeast. The 2026 season has taken the tour to Dominion, Newport, Tri-County and Caraway. Bob Schacht, who fields the No. 75 on our Driver’s Seat page, is a co-owner of the series and helped create it with Patty Simko.
QuicShine99 joined the series in June 2026 for the rest of the season.
The QuicShine99 Clean Sweep Award
A GNSS driver who wins the ChaLew Performance Pole and both races in a single night earns $250. If nobody does it, the award grows by $250 at every event until it is won, and a QuicShine99 Clean Sweep Award Champion is crowned at the end of the season.
